Recurrent Bacterial Vaginosis cannot be dealt with using antibiotics over and over again. I found this out the hard way. I spent two years on and off antibiotics. The BV would clear up and within a couple of months, it would be right back. At the time I had no idea why this was happening, and then I started to do some research on recurring bacterial vaginosis and discovered exactly what the problem was.

You see, to deal with recurring bacterial vaginosis, you have to first understand the condition. BV occurs when there is an imbalance of good and bad bacteria in the vagina. The vagina has more good bacteria than bad, but when the balanced is tipped and the bad bacteria overtakes the good, BV rears it’s ugly head.

Now, I don’t profess to be a scientific expert and I’m the type of person to find out only what I need to know, so with that in mind, I’ll share with you what I discovered. Many women in the same situation had experimented with natural products. Apparently, due to the delicate nature of the condition, you are supposed to use natural products that neutralize the bacterial balance in the vagina. This in turn eliminates bacterial vaginosis (and those terrible fishy smells).

Well, a few of the remedies I tried worked reasonably well, but the crux of the matter was that the condition recurred. I couldn’t believe at this stage that I would ever be rid of this awful anti social condition. How wrong was I?

My mother had read an article detailing a woman with the same plight as myself and apparently by using a special ‘combination’ of natural products that can be found in your cupboards at home, she managed to get rid of her bacterial vaginosis recurrence for good. I had to give it a try at least. It did what it said on the label. I am ‘cured’ of BV. I was ecstatic. I still am to this day. I feel I owe it to my fellow female sufferers to tell my story.
